Welcoming the Sun 2019

Join us for a day of festivity as we welcome the solstice sun with a celebration of Indigenous arts and culture. In the spirit of honouring National Indigenous Peoples Day, this free celebration highlights local Indigenous performance artists, storytellers, crafters and skill-holders both indoors and outdoors from 12:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site in Steveston Village. All are welcome to take part and enjoy dance, song, stories, activities and more for people of all ages!
