Heritage Week at Britannia Mine Museum

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/20/2021
Celebrate the history of British Columbia at Britannia Mine Museum, a National Historic Site on the shores of Howe Sound. The mine has a fascinating history. Over 60,000 people lived and worked here; a site of tragedy and triumph, pioneering work on ore mining and copper extraction, fires, floods, and much more. This history is well preserved in thoughtfully curated exhibits that include machinery and equipment, photo archives, structures on the site, and the historic Mill No.3 building; one of most innovative and striking industrial buildings in all of Canada.
