His innovative drills are popular with students learning effective defensive zone positioning while generating offence from the backend. Stan is entering his 2nd season (2017-2018, 2018-2019) as Head Coach of the Saint Georges Saints bantam program playing in the prestigious CSSHL (Canadian School Sport Hockey League). He captured the league championship in 2017/2018 as a member of the Saints coaching staff. Along with his junior and pro clientele, he is an on-ice skills coach for various minor hockey associations. Coach Sibert holds a Masters Degree in Coaching and BC Hockey High Performance Coach Certification.
Support instructors include US College players and current NHL draft picks. Topics include: defenseman specific skating, gap control, stick positioning, zone coverage, body contact and game play positioning. Players are placed in on-ice skill groups based on age, level of play, and ability.
