Black History Month - Celebrate with the Whole Family!

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/21/2026
This February, join us at Mackin House Museum for our annual Black History Month Celebration. This event will feature music, food, vendors to browse through, and activities for kids that celebrate the history and culture of the Black Diaspora. It's the perfect way for the whole family to get involved in the occasion! February marks Black History Month, shining a spotlight on Black culture and history that often gets overlooked. Whether it be through celebration, education, or reflection, Black History Month represents an important time of year for the Black community of Coquitlam and Greater Vancouver, making it a part of our shared heritage as a city.
