Black History Month Celebration

This year's theme is Community & Legacy: Honoring Our Past While Building Our Future. The FV Heritage Elevation Society in collaboration with the City of Abbotsford and Abbotsford Libraries, FVRL is honored to host the 2026 Black History Month Celebration, a vibrant event dedicated to recognizing the resilience, achievements, and cultural contributions of Black peoples in Canada. This year’s celebration will feature a dynamic presentation on Canadian Black history, traditional African dance performances, drumming, and storytelling that highlight the richness and diversity of African heritage.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
