About the Egg Hunt
The egg hunt is self-guided, and you don’t need to do it first! Remember to bring a basket or a bag to carry your eggs; none are available at the event.
There will be eight large bunny posters hidden throughout the park, each one will have a basket of eggs – once you find a bunny poster, take ONE egg only. Once you’ve found at least six characters you can exchange the eggs at the egg-change station for a goodie bag. One goodie bag per child – your wristband/sticker gets turned in at the same time you turn in your eggs.

Do I have to be a Pitt Meadows resident to register?
No, all are welcome. Be sure to pre-register to secure your time slot.
Does everyone in the family (parent/grandparents etc.) need a ticket and sticker to show registration?
Only children need a ticket/wristband. A wristband is attached to the ticket and kids will need to wear these wristbands to prove registration.
What if I can’t come by the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre to register beforehand?
The Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre is open seven days a week from early morning until the evening, so hopefully you can stop by at some point. We will have minimal tickets available at the event for each time slot – quantities are limited. See hours of operation below.
Can I pick up for more than one family?
No, tickets are limited to one household (only children need a ticket).
Do we have to leave after our time slot has ended?
We are hoping that the length of time allotted will ensure families have enough time to participate in all the activities. To help minimize line-ups and large crowds, families should arrive at their registered start time. If you haven’t quite finished by the end of your time slot, please stay and finish the activity.
Do we have to do the egg hunt first?
No definitely not – check out the line-ups and do whatever activity you would like first, but please go directly to the egg-change station once you've finished the egg hunt.
What if something comes up on the day of the event and we can’t make that time slot but can make a later one – can we still attend?
You do take the chance that the later time slot will be full as we only hold minimal tickets for those not registered at the park.
