Explore, imagine, create! Are you looking for a fun innovative program that keeps your child active while learning new things? Each week will have a theme that promotes new learning.  Our science learning themes are chosen with school science curriculum in mind, broadening its scope while strengthening understanding. While our child development themes are chosen to broaden life skills. Topics touch on cooking, gardening, and health/wellbeing. Our program's approach sharpens critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills.

Explore Science Club programs keep children active outdoors while learning new things. Each child is nurtured to fulfill their potential, and encouraged to learn life skills that nurture self sufficiency. Our made in house programs build on curriculum relevant science in innovative ways helping children make sense of the world around them.

Located in Langley City near Cloverdale, Surrey. Program runs Mondays 3:30-5:30 on school days. $125/month, vehicle transport available from local schools with additional fee. Visit ESC's website for more details.

Are you looking for a fun enrichment program for your child? Explore Science Club offers outdoor and indoor science programs for children aged 2-10. We offer camps in Spring and Summer too. Our programs are run in partnership with the Township of Langley. Stay tuned to this event for updates on what we offer!
Learning through play is a major theme in all our programs. Guided learning is combined with self exploration to offer a unique hands on STEAM curriculum. Crafts, music and other creative arts are core to our teaching philosophy. We help children discover their interests. Preparing and supporting them on their learning journey. Our preschool programs help children discover, explore and wonder about the world around them. Children's programs feature curriculum relevant material combined with hands on discovery that nurtures individual interests.
ESC was founded by Nehal Saleh, a scientist with a PhD in behavioural ecology. Nehal published 4 out of 5 thesis chapters in peer reviewed journals. Her work was a combination of biological assays, chemical identification and software programming. Nehal has also worked as Business Development Manager in a publicly listed antibody company. She has a modern multidisciplinary approach to science education.

Science in Nature: Preschool (M/W/F, 9:39-11:30, choose one or more days)(ongoing enrolment runs through to end of June)(Field House/Picnic Shelter, Walnut Grove Community Park, approx. $125/month for all 3 days, starting at $30/month for 1 day). Explore, imagine, create. Fun outdoor and indoor activities that engage natural curiosity about our local environment and its inhabitants. Outdoor exploration is coupled with creative hands-on science that incorporates stories, music and crafts. Extend your child’s stay by registering for Science Crafts!
Science Crafts (M/W/F,11:30-1:00, choose one or more days) (starts Sept 16); (Field House/Picnic Shelter, Walnut Grove Community Park, approx $95/month for all 3 days, starting at $29/month for fewer days.Spots available on Mondays, very limited spots Wednesday and Friday. Immerse your child in science themed crafts that develop fine motor skills. This is an indoor program. Children have an opportunity to join the daily craft or play.
You can setup a monthly payment plan for these courses. You simply need to fill out sections 1-3 on the Scheduled Payment Authorization form then take it to either Walnut Grove or George Preston for processing. FAQ:
Courses are unparented. Instruction for our Science in Nature programs is outdoors unless weather is particularly bad or the course material is better facilitated indoors. We have access to a shelter and indoor heated room. Preschool children need to be potty trained. You can withdraw your child by giving one month notice.

Explore, imagine, create, and develop your creativity and critical thinking in this unique program offered in partnership with Township of Langley. Choose one or two days. While we will go learn outside when the weather is nice, this is not an outdoor program. We will learn about everything science from food to crazy inventions! This program offers a little bit for everyone! To register please call any Township of Langley recreation centre. A walking train to these programs is available from Belmont Elementary.
