Celebrate Family Day weekend with a visit to Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site in Steveston Village. Step inside the beautifully preserved heritage buildings and discover Richmond’s multicultural boatbuilding and fishing heritage. Explore the site with a fun scavenger hunt for all ages or activity booklet for the older kids (6-12 years old).
In honour of the culturally diverse heritage of those who worked and lived in Steveston’s boatbuilding and fishing communities, join us as we celebrate the Lunar New Year with crafts and activities for visitors of all ages. Visit the Chinese Bunkhouse 10:00am – 4:00pm, and make a festive bookmark, learn about the Chinese zodiac, try some calligraphy, and more.
