Snowflakes are natural jewels. Scientists have been trying to understand these gems falling from the sky for more than four hundred years. Today, we understand this phenomenon better but many questions remain unsolved. Join distinguished French mathematician Etienne Ghys as he tells the story of snowflakes and shares some beautiful images of these amazing crystals.
