Join local ethnobotanist Senaqwila Wyss to learn about indigenous plant use, from medicines for teas or edible berries and more, throughout Maplewood Flats!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Senaqwila is of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Tsimshian, Sto:lo, Swiss, and Hawaiian ancestry. She is working with the WBT for her 3rd year as one of the summer staff.

She was trained traditionally by her mother, T’uyt’tanat Cease Wyss. Together, they founded Raven and Hummingbird Tea Co (https://ravenhummingbirdtea.com/), and share their knowledge and love for indigenous plants broadly.

Meet at the nursery at 11am to participate. (except for the one on Sat July 20, which starts at 3pm and is part of Osprey Festival - bit.ly/ospreyfest2019 )
