Music on the Wharf

Music on the Wharf is back!
Since 1997, this concert series has taken place on the Port Haney Wharf. Sadly, due to the pandemic, it was cancelled in 2020 for the first time in over two decades. In 2021, the concert series was moved to Memorial Peace Park in order to allow the maximum number of attendees while still keeping in line with social distancing protocols.
This summer, we are excited to announce that this signature event will be back at the wharf!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Things to know:
- As with past events, donations are welcome (but not required) in order to help offset the cost of providing this community festival.
- Parking is limited to the nearby streets, so we ask that you come early to ensure space for your vehicle(s) or consider taking public transit.
- Patrons should bring their own lawn chairs to sit on.
- Patrons are encouraged to support local nearby businesses by purchasing take-away food and refreshments for a picnic during the show!

(all concerts are on Monday evenings, from 7:30pm to 9pm, with the exception of August 22, which is from 7:00pm-8:30pm)

August 8, 2022: J D Miner
August 22, 2022: Aerika
In case of rain, the concert will be cancelled, this decision will be made by noon the day of the concert. Signs will be posted at the venue, and you can contact 604-463-5311 for more details.
These concerts depend heavily on volunteers to help them run.
