Spivey Hall offers virtual Young People's Concerts that last approximately 50 minutes that have both recorded and live content. Our live moderator, Shana Tucker, welcomes the audience then introduces the artists, Atlanta Celli, and engages them with introductory remarks about the performance. Atlanta Celli is known for their engaging personalities as well as the musical talents.

We revisit Phoenix Rising with the Atlanta Celli. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed daily life from what we know it. No school, no work, no time with friends…and shined a spotlight on society’s many inequities. Nan Kemberling, a member of the group, was inspired by the events of this past summer and wrote the piece, Phoenix Rising, that salutes Atlanta's civil rights leaders. The Celli navigate this emotional journey with their signature mashups of classical and popular music.  From anger to hope, from Beethoven to Ozzy Osbourne, this is a musical ride the audience will not want to miss.

Live and pre-recorded content.

With special guest Sarah Kapps.

After the performance, Ms. Tucker comes back and speaks live with Atlanta Celli as well as takes questions submitted by the audience both recorded and live.

If a part of or the entire livestream is missed, Spivey Hall sends a link to patrons that purchase a ticket ($10 per household, special rates for classrooms/groups) with 48 hours of additional viewing of the entire program.
