Spring Break Manga Camp

Manga is a popular genre of illustration in the world of comics, originating in Japan. Spring Break Manga Camp is a fun-filled week of Japanese culture and arts with a special focus on MANGA!
We have an exciting week of activities to immerse your child in Japanese Canadian arts and culture. They will experience a lineup of fantastic workshops by local Vancouver comic artists who will share their knowledge of illustration, storytelling, and design. Manga Camp kids will design and create their very own Manga and will take home a copy of their compilation comic including stories designed by their day camp tomodachi (friends)! The manga component will be complemented by various cultural activities by local teachers and masters of the Japanese arts, to inspire our budding artists with learning to draw forms, movement and themes, that we know the day campers are going to love.
