Suzuki Summer Programs
Our annual Suzuki camps are a highlight of the summer for Suzuki families, and this year we are pleased to offer a unique, 5-day music-making opportunity that allows students and teachers to come together for a safe, nurturing and fun experience that will appeal to those near and far!
Suzuki Strings Summer Camp
July 5 – 9, 2021
Open to all Suzuki trained students in violin, viola and cello.
Join us for an interactive musical experience with fabulous guest teachers Diana Nuttall (cello) and Robert Richardson (violin/viola), who will be leading the sessions remotely, with the support of LCMS faculty.
State-of-the-art technology enables in-person and online students to learn and play music with new friends from around the world! Students residing within the Lower Mainland may attend in-person classes with teachers teaching via monitor and in-person. Strict Covid-19 guidelines will be followed, and every consideration will be given to appropriate structure and breaks for all students.
Daily parent sessions with workshop faculty will be held virtually Monday to Thursday.
Students will have the opportunity to perform at one of our daily online recitals.
Designed with virtual and in-person attendees in mind, daily activities include:
- An individual lesson in the form of a masterclass
- A technique class
- An optional daily repertoire class
An online ice-breaker event will be held July 4, 3:00 pm , PACIFIC time.
Daily Classes will run Monday to Friday.
Virtual Summer Camp Wind-Up will be held following classes Friday, July 9th.

Costs:
Strings Book 1-3: $275 (by May 1) $325 (after May 1)
Strings Book 4-up: $325 (by May 1) $375 (after May 1)
A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required at time of registration.
