Ore and Orcas: The Remediation of Howe Sound / Átl’ka7 Tsem

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 10/31/2021
For the month of October, the Terra Lab will come to life with a dynamic, visual display, focusing on the impact of the mine on the Howe Sound ecosystem. The display will look at the mine's history - including the impacts of pollution and subsequent remediation and recovery - through the lens of its impact on the Howe Sound food chain. We will be bringing some unique marine specimens to the Museum, including an adult orca skeleton!
