St. Roch Engine Room Tours

The one-hour tour begins on the mezzanine around the ship. Then you’re taken aboard the St. Roch for a full tour. You’ll start with the decks before heading to the engine room and stowage areas.
The tour will be led by an experienced team of volunteers. These volunteers have stories to tell, stories that are only shared on tours. You’ll learn what it was like to be a sailor in the Arctic, one of the harshest climates in the world, in the early 20th century. You’ll learn about the workings of the ship’s engine and you’ll hear stories about the captain and crew that even some VMM staff have never heard before.
The next St. Roch engine room tour is August 22 and November 21. There are limited spots available for the St. Roch engine room tours, so book your spot soon.
Tickets:
- $13.50 for adults
- $11 for seniors and students,
- $10 for youth.
The tour ticket includes free admission to the museum.
