We are celebrating our latest exhibit, Imagination Unplugged: Artwork from Whistler’s Youngest Creators. Enjoy live painting from Andrea Mueller, music with local legend, Stephen Vogler, and Jazz the Balloon Man twisting amazing balloon animals! The first 20 kids to visit us on July 21 get to take home a balloon hat and all little visitors will be entered to win a summer fun door prize!
Additional information: We take safety seriously. Please wear a mask and follow our COVID-19 protocols, for everyone’s safety, we limit the amount of guests in the Gallery and Gift Shop
Imagination Unplugged | Call for Artists
This year as part of the Whistler Children’s Festival we will be featuring the artwork kids who participated in Andrea’s Imagination Station workshops in The Gallery at the Maury Young Arts Centre.
We want more creations from young Sea to Sky artists, 12 years and younger! These artworks will be included in the exhibit in a mosaic display.
Paint, draw, or make a collage – whatever inspires you! A favourite animal? A rocket ship? An abstract creation? Anything goes!
Any medium or subject matter will be accepted, BUT all artwork must be 8” x 10” or smaller completed on paper or cardstock. We can only accept one piece per community artist, and your masterpiece will be included in a mosaic display in our Gallery. 3D works that cannot hang on the wall will not be accepted.
We can’t wait to see your creations!
Art is accepted on an ongoing basis until the end of the exhibit (August 19)
