Come celebrate the 7th Annual Beethoven Festival with the musicians of the Yonkers Philharmonic

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Come celebrate the 7th Annual Beethoven Festival with the musicians of the Yonkers Philharmonic in our largest online collaboration to date as we perform Beethoven's Fidelio Overture led by our Music Director, Tong Chen.  Smaller ensembles led by members of the Yonkers Philharmonic highlight specific instruments within the orchestra:  Beethoven's Trio for 3 Clarinets, 3 Equali (trombones),  Piano Trio in B flat major and Cello Sonata played on the bass.  Also, CPE Bach's Sonata in A Minor for solo flute and Hindemith's Sonata for 4 French horns.

Music brings us together and the Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra continues to bring music into our community in this challenging time. We dedicate this concert to the memory of the Fine Arts Orchestral Society of Yonkers founder Dr. Kathleen Pistone Carucci.  Without her tireless efforts (both personal and financial) the Yonkers Philharmonic would not be able to provide pleasure to community performers and audiences alike.     Please show your appreciation by donating what you can through the Yonkers Philharmonic website.

Program notes by violist Dr. Margaret Benedict will be available on www.yonkersphilharmonic.org.
