Camp Kesem

Camp Kesem is a University of Washington student-run non-profit located about an hour and a half outside of Seattle, Washington. We provide a free summer camp for kids whose parents have been affected or currently are affected by cancer. Our goal is to connect kids with other children who have been through a similar situation and give them their childhood back. Registration is free and can be found here: https://kesem.force.com. We accept kids age 6-16 and 16-18 year olds can sign up to be counselors in training.

Camp Kesem at Seattle University

Camp Kesem is a unique came for children whose parents have been diagnosed with cancer. Camp Kesem at Seattle University is open to 60 campers from throughout the area. Our camp is offered free of charge, and is open to any 6-18 year old who has, or has had, a parent or primary caregiver with cancer. We are one of over 100 active Camp Kesem chapters throughout the United States, and our program is staffed by student volunteers from Seattle University. As a national organization, Camp Kesem has over 15 years of experience bringing top quality programs that have a significant impact on children and families. Our camps are designed to allow children the opportunity to find support, have fun, and feel safe, loved, and respected.
