This year's Heirloom Tomato Fest will feature dozens of unique heritage tomato varieties, such as the Green Zebra, the psychedelic Berkeley Tie Dye and the striking yellow Pineapple! There will be tomato tastings, kids’ activities, heirloom veggie stories, and more, so bring the whole family.
Long-time Earthwise partner Chef Derek Bothwell of Vancouver's The Bottleneck Restaurant will be on site preparing some delicious tomato dishes- and we can't wait to see what he has in store!
The Tomato Fest will also feature cooking demos from a variety of local Delta restaurants, including Il Posto - Casual Italian Eatery, Mario's Kitchen, and Gracie's Next Door, whose talented chefs will demonstrate creative and tasty ways to use tomatoes.
Dalia from Coastal Olive Oils will showcase the classic pairing of fresh tomatoes and fine oil and vinegar.
