Join us at the Fraser River Discovery Centre on July 26 for the Banner to Bag Workshop! This hands-on session explores the environmental impact of single-use plastics and introduces sustainable alternatives. Participants will upcycle old vinyl banners into unique coin bags, giving waste a new life. Open to ages 16 and up. Early bird price is $15 until June 14; $20 after. Discounts available for students, seniors, and members. Pre-registration required—create your own eco-friendly accessory!

Join us for a creative, hands-on workshop where we’ll dive into the environmental issues of plastic use in everyday life and explore practical, sustainable alternatives. Then roll up your sleeves and learn how to turn old vinyl banners into fun, functional coin bags. Give waste a second life—and take home a one-of-a-kind creation you made yourself!
