Discovery Days - Spring Session

Join us on a family adventure in the forest! Discovery Days programs are for families with children ages 3-8. You’ll enjoy a forest walk, story, and hands-on activities as you learn about local plants and animals.

Discovery Days – Spring Session
Join us on a family adventure in the forest! Discovery Days programs are for families with children ages 3-8. You’ll enjoy a forest walk, story, and hands-on activities as you learn about local plants and animals.
Families must register for all four monthly classes. The cost is $46.00, for all 4 sessions. Programs run from 1-3 pm, one Saturday a month. Full refunds are available before March 4, no partial refunds are available.

Fantastic Frogs
Saturday, March 18 from 1-3 pm
It’s time for the frogs to wake up for the spring! Hop to the Ecology Centre to learn more about these amazing amphibians.
Eat Your Greens!
Saturday, April 15 from 1-3 pm
Animals love leaves! Learn about leaves and the big and small animals that eat plants to survive.
May Flowers
Saturday, May 13 from 1-3 pm
Get up close with some forest flowers. What is a flower? How do flowers support the lives of many forest animals?
Scurrying Squirrels
Saturday, June 10 from 1-3 pm
Squirrels are everywhere – gliding from tree to tree and hiding cones underground. Learn about these fluffy tree climbers and seed-munchers!
