Empowerment Summer Camp (pre-teens)
We will be hosting two cohorts of our free empowerment camps for pre-teen girls and gender-diverse youth. This will be in collaboration with Flourish (formerly Fire and Flower) and will be a space for the youth to take part in plenty of fun activities, arts and crafts, and learn about empowering concepts like feminism, environmental justice, and community! Come join if you want to spend time in a neuro-affirming, feminist, and overall, safe space to make friends and share experiences!

For pre-teen girls and gender-diverse youth aged 11-13 to make friends and explore topics about female empowerment, girl power, media representations and how to make sense of them. Run by experienced facilitators, the camps will include a variety of indoor and outdoor activities ranging from art, coping skills, local excursions, guided tours, and more.
We are happy to share that for Summer 2026, we will be offering the pre-teen camps in partnership with Flourish Education and Mentorship Society (formerly Fire & Flower Girls).

*All camps will be held at The North Shore Women's Centre from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
*All sessions include free light breakfast, lunch, snacks and activities.
