Girls Empowerment Camp

The teen Girls' Empowerment Camp is a one-week day camp that takes place each summer. Led by an experienced youth facilitator, the Camp aims to support teen girls in accessing their individual and collective strengths in order to empower themselves and help create social change.

Some of the topics covered during the camp include:

These topics are explored by engaging in activities such as discussion, games, art, video, music, drama, writing and physical activities such as rock climbing, canoeing and interpretive tours, as well as by inviting guest speakers.
The Camp mainly takes place at the North Shore Women's Centre (131 East 2nd St, North Vancouver). A morning snack, lunch and all materials are included.
The Camp is offered free of charge.
