Indangamirwa Traditional Dance Group | Kids Out and About Vancouver

Indangamirwa Traditional Dance Group

Indangamirwa Vancouver is a dance ensemble dedicated to the preservation, education and appreciation of traditional Rwandan music, dance and culture. Since its inception in 2015, ITDG has championed its mission through performances and creative partnership programs with communities and renowned artists. For Indangamirwa Vancouver, traditional music and dance are not merely a means of entertainment, but rather a means to educate, communicate and preserve their ancestral background all while fostering togetherness. For this event Indangamirwa will present a dance performance, a participatory audience experience, and a moderated conversation on dance, history, and culture.
