Indigenous Medicinal Plant Workshop | Kids Out and About Vancouver

Indigenous Medicinal Plant Workshop

Join a hands-on Indigenous Medicinal Plant Workshop at the Fraser River Discovery Centre. Guided by storytelling and traditional knowledge, participants will explore wild, native, and medicinal plants through sensory experiences such as smelling, touching, and tasting. Learn about plant uses, deepen your connection to nature, and take home a two-page illustrated mind map.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Join us as we walk through the boardwalk, rediscovering wild, native, and medicinal plants. Through storytelling and hands-on sensory experiences—smelling, touching, and tasting—participants will deepen their connection to the plants around us.

Participants will sample selected plants and take home a two-page illustrated mind map.
