One-On-One Inclusion Support Program: Camp at Evans Lake

At Evans Lake, we believe that forest education should be made accessible to everyone, regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status or abilities. We offer a one-on-one inclusion support program for campers who require one-on-one support throughout our summer camp programs. All staff at Evans Lake must have a clear vulnerable sectors check and participate in our week-long training program. Our staff who provide care to campers with disabilities receive additional training to ensure that campers have a safe, comfortable and successful week at camp. We provide one-on-one support for campers with disabilities aged 7 to 16 in both our day and overnight summer camp programs.

Evans Lake offers an exciting array of outdoor activities, including canoeing, paddle boarding, rock climbing, a low ropes course, archery and more. We provide various summer camp sessions for campers between the ages of 7 and 16 years.
Evans Lake is easily accessible to Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, located 15 kilometres North of Squamish, BC. We feature a picturesque mountain lake, 240 hectares of forest, 10 kilometres of hiking trails and full-service facilities.
For our overnight summer camp programs, we offer bus transportation from Surrey, Burnaby, West Vancouver and Squamish. For our day camp programs, we offer bus transportation from Squamish and Paradise Valley.

There is support fee for this program of $60 per day, in addition to our regular registration fee.
For overnight camps the support fee is an additional $360.
For Day camps the support fee is $300.
As with other camp fees, families are able to apply for our Campership Program (fee subsidy) if the fees present a barrier to attending camp.
