River Basin Days: The Five Senses

River Basin Days is a series of outdoor public programs for families. Join us at different locations around the Fraser River Basin as we explore this incredible watershed! Our staff will guide you through one hour of activities, experiments, and art projects as we learn about the biodiversity of this great river.
When we explore nature, we most often use our eyes to observe. We enjoy the view from the top of the mountain, the spray of new flowers in spring, and the colours of a sunset. But we have four other senses that are great at helping us connect with nature, as well! Join us at Campbell Valley Regional Park this month as we use our sense of sight, hearing, touch, smell, and even taste to learn more about nature!
This event will take place rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather.
Registration cost includes admission to the Fraser River Discovery Centre. Pay when you register for this workshop, and the next time you visit the Centre in-person, you will be admitted for free.
