School’s Out Drop-in: Environment Superheroes

Come and spend your Pro-D day with us! Celebrate a “green” day of fun, creativity, and discovery at the Museum of Surrey! Drop-In School’s Out: Environment Superheroes invites families to explore the everyday heroes protecting our planet—starting right beneath our feet.
Join us for a little preview of our upcoming feature exhibit, Soil Superheroes!, with hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and inspire environmental stewardship in kids of all ages.
Young eco-heroes can dive into interactive experiences, create earth-friendly crafts, and learn from local environmental organizations making a difference in our community.

Event Highlights:
- Meet and explore booths from community partners like Darts Hill, Surrey Stewardship Team, Urban Forestry, Vancouver Avian Research Centre, Metro Vancouver Parks, Dr. Recycle, and Parks Canada
- Turn everyday recyclables into creative crafts with Dr. Recycle
- Make your own Soil Superhero craft to take home
- Complete a fun scavenger hunt inspired by our newest exhibit, Soil Superheroes!
This drop-in program is perfect for families, Pro-D Day adventurers, and anyone passionate about the environment. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
No registration required—just drop in and play!
