Skating for Hockey Camp

This program is perfect for children (5-10 years) who are interested in learning the basics of hockey in a fun and safe setting! Unlike most hockey programs, full hockey equipment is not required for this program. Skates, a helmet with face mask, gloves and a stick is all that is required. We recommend participants also have completed a Learn-to-Skate program before registering in Skating for Hockey. Our experienced instructors look forward to teaching your child the game. During on-ice instruction participants will begin to learn the skills of the game, starting with the basics of how to hold a hockey stick and progressing to fundamentals of puck control, passing, and shooting, all while building their confidence. Upon completion of this program we are sure your child will love hockey as much as we do!
