Summer Camp

Academy of Modern Art in Kerrisdale is hosting our first full day summer camps! Our camps provide a safe and engaging environment for your child to explore art through their interests. From performing arts and animation to science and sword fighting, there's something for everyone. Pick the weeks that interest you or join us all summer!

 

 

 

Camp leaders will work with students to learn all aspects of theatre, collaborate together and create their own unique show to present at the end of the session. Dance, singing, acting, script writing, directing and more. Create, collaborate, and perform while having indoor and outdoor activities and building new peer relationships.

 

 

Roller coaster Day (exploring gravity), Build a Catapult (Force: action and reaction), Explosions! (creating chemical reactions), and Sensory Exploration (make your own slime!). What more can you ask for in a week filled with hands on science learning with knowledgeable and engaging camp leaders? This week includes a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. See you there scientists!

 

 

Learn beginner sword fighting and stage fighting skills and safety while putting together a performance to showcase on the last day of camp. Sword making crafts, learning storytelling and art in movement, and outdoor games and activities are all incorporated in this exciting week! En garde!

 

 

Learn to create Stop-Motion, Flip-Books, and the basics of creating characters and drawing animation. TV and movie lovers, artists and all creative kids will love the classes with artists while also balancing games and time outside with our engaging camp leaders.
