Super Saturday – Food of the Fraser

Taking place on the last Saturday of each month, Super Saturdays is a series of public programs geared toward families. There are lots of activities that explore different features of the Fraser River, from its booming industry to its diverse ecosystem.
The Fraser Valley is a full of fertile farms and fabulous foods, many of which have the Fraser River to thank! Join us on August 26th to learn how the mighty Fraser makes growing food possible!

WHAT:
- Learn about nutrients carried by the Fraser’s current with a deposition bowling activity!
- Map the bounty of foods to that come out of the Fraser Valley!
- Explore one of many First Nation’s fish preservation methods with a guided demonstration!
