Thunderbird Hitting and Base Running Camp
*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 08/09/2019
The Thunderbird Hitting and Base Running camp is focused on all offensive aspects of baseball. Players will improve their hitting mechanics, bat path and bat speed, while having fun training with a variety of games and competitions throughout the afternoon.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Players will put their skills to the test in live at-bat simulations and competitions. Base running techniques and skills will be implemented in their daily activities. Hitting a home run at the Rogers Centre or Fenway Park will become a reality with our HitTrax Hitting Simulators. Campers can take some swings off the Pro Batter pitching machine, and see how they can handle a curveball!
Please Note: Players are required to bring their own helmet, glove, and bat to camp, as well as their lunch and a refillable water bottle.
For a full-day baseball camp option, register for the Thunderbird All-Skills Camp.
