Zoo Camp
Campers that attend Zoo Camp will learn about the role the Zoo and the animals here play and foster an appreciation for our wild ecosystems so they can be future leaders in conservation.

Jr. Zoo Camp
Step into the wild this Spring to explore, learn, and discover the fascinating world of animals and dinosaurs. Jr. Zoo Camp is designed for campers in kindergarten through 9 years old. Children will interact with live animals, explore various habitats at the Zoo, and learn from our animal experts—all while developing a deeper connection to the natural world. Campers will have plenty of space and free time to play, explore, and lead their own adventures. Camp activities include behind-the-scenes tours, animal encounters, train rides, crafts, games, face painting, outdoor play, and educational lessons.
Youth Camp
New this year—join the Zoo Crew and learn what it takes to work at a zoo! This advanced camp is for 10 to 14-year-olds. Our Youth Zoo Camp provides hands-on experience with our Zoo staff, including behind-the-scenes animal training exercises, preparing animal diets, creating enrichment items for the animals, and exploring our on-site conservation programs. Of course, it’s not all work—there will be plenty of time to build friendships, play, ride the train, and explore the Zoo.
