Surrey Civic Theatres are built on the unceded territories of the se’mya’me (Semiahmoo), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), and q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie) nations. We are honoured to work and learn on land they have stewarded since time immemorial. Surrey Civic Theatres are owned and operated by the City of Surrey. Venues include the Main Stage and Studio Theatre inside the Surrey Arts Centre, and Centre Stage located inside Surrey City Hall. Events held on these stages are both programmed by Surrey Civic Theatres’ staff, as well as presented by organizations and individuals who rent the theatres. Together, they provide the community with a spectrum of performing arts and entertainment options.

The Cultch offers innovative, youth-driven arts programming and professional development opportunities to aspiring young artists and art lovers aged 13-24. We provide a gathering place for performance and mentorship, and support the development of youth community leadership through a variety of programs. The Youth Program is a safe space. It is a non-discriminating, inclusive environment with opportunities for just about any interest in the arts, whether you’re just starting out or have already graduated from post-secondary training.
The First Step Actors' Workshop is an all inclusive actors training and actors study facility for beginners and advanced artists. We provide acting classes for Youth/Teen and Adults with no experience is necessary.
West Point Grey Community Centre offers a wide variety of opportunities for all ages in the areas of arts, culture, education, recreation, sport and social activities. Special Events such as Afternoon Teas, Breakfast with Bunny and the Point Grey Fiesta bring the community together to get to know one another and celebrate holidays, festivals and special occasions.
This group was created to provide an opportunity for all home schooled children to experience musical theatre and to help them meet their educational goals. Children who have been involved in this program have not only benefited educationally, but have made life long friends.
