BioEndeavor is a non-profit organization that seeks to empower youth, adults and educators through global citizenship. We empower young women to succeed by leading for good including through--personal development and finding purpose, soft skills development, as well as charting their education and career paths. We equally engage youth through social entrepreneurship, green innovation and design--empowering youth to take a leading role on sustainable development and climate action through innovation. We work with educators and parents to create meaningful learning experiences based on purpose for the whole student/child.

She Designs the Way Forward is a 6-day virtual program to support young women through a journey of:

  • self-awareness

  • finding purpose

  • creating a vision of one’s future self

  • brainstorming new educational and career opportunities

  • human skills development

  • education and career mapping to create a path into leadership

The program was created by Dr. Minna Allarakhia an alumna of MIT, Brown University and the University of Waterloo.  She created this program, because every young woman needs a champion.

Dr. Minna Allarakhia is a faculty at the University of Waterloo and Co-Founder of BioEndeavor Inc. She will provide an inside view of university life including choosing schools and programs, as well as emerging education and career opportunities for young women.

The 6-day virtual journey includes a 2-hour live morning Zoom session with peers and Dr. Minna Allarakhia followed by afternoon self-reflection exercises. The program is supported by exercises and reading on the BioEndeavor platform which will be available for the afternoon activities and for lifetime access after the live program, including the supporting online community to ensure continued connectivity and engagement for students. The 6-day journey includes:
