CanWest Farms

CanWest Farms is the hard work and passion of the Kallu family, who have been farming since 1979. In the 80s, Sukhbir Kallu harvested many fruits and vegetables, including strawberries, broccoli and sprouts. As his five children grew up, during the 90s, the Kallu family modified its fruit market to specialize solely in cultivating and packaging blueberries. The Kallu kids revelled in learning from their father, and grew up helping on the farm during summer vacations. With the shorter berry season, Sukhbir Kallu delightedly had more time to spend with his children, and was thrilled to teach them the family business.
