Career Expeditions Camp

Exploration of various career possibilities, site visits and learning sessions with professionals like a Helicopter pilot, Firefighter, Engineer, Baker, Architect etc. Understanding the day-to-day life, skills and tasks in various professions. 

Open to: Kids in Grade 2 to Grade 7 (as of 2025-2026 school year)

Fees: $360 + Tax (Total: $378 per student)

Curriculum:

• Mode of transport: Walking, Car, Bus (provided by Brainiacs Adventures)

• Visiting locations where professionals work during the day

• Observing behind-the-scenes, factories, offices and teams working

• Learning about careers, daily tasks and working relationships

• Exploring educational journeys and a day-in-the-life of different professions

• Skill development

• Question and Answer sessions

• Past expeditions include: Doctor, Nurse, Dentist, Engineer, Architect, Police, Firefighter, Baker, Florist, Editor, Park Manager, Pilot, Store Manager, Farmer, Chef, etc.

Kids need to bring:

• Packed, peanut-free lunch

• 2 peanut-free snacks

• Water bottle

• Outdoor wear (jacket, cap, etc.)

• Comfortable shoes for outdoor play

Drop-Off Time and Location

• Between 8:30am and 9:30am

• Lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver (exact location TBD)

• Waterfront Station in Vancouver (exact location TBD)

Pricing / Refund Policy

• Full refund upto 2 months before Camp start date

• 50% refund upto 1 month before Camp start date

• No refunds within 1 month of Camp start date
