Easter Seals BC & Yukon is a trusted charity and established leader in supporting the disabled community. Since 1947, we have helped children and adults address life’s challenges and given them tools to build their self-esteem, self-confidence and sense of independence. We operate Easter Seals House in Vancouver and Easter Seals camps in Lake Shawnigan, Squamish and Winfield.

Summer Camps

Overnight Camps

Easter Seals Camps are a place where everyone is welcome and no one hears the word ‘no’. It’s a place where campers can be themselves, and explore and develop their abilities in a safe, warm, fun and supportive environment. Whether they attend day camp, or overnight camp, campers return home with new friendships, improved skills, and become more independent and active members of their communities. Camps offer both a magical experience for campers, and an important respite for families and caregivers.

Day Camps - Ready. Set. Volunteer.

Vancouver - Empowering young adults with disabilities to participate in volunteering by providing the appropriate support, education and exposure to both volunteers and community organizations.

Virtual Classes & Camps

EasterSeals@Home

Easter Seals in-person summer camps have been revamped to a virtual EasterSeals@Home experience for ages 6-49 years. This program is here to help our community cope with new challenges as a result of the pandemic, address isolation, and foster socialization. We have committed to provide these online classes, day camps, social events, and winter and spring break camps throughout the year, so as to continue to provide social connection and learnings for campers, and respite for caregivers.

Adult & Parent Programs

Learnings & Respite

Easter Seals provides opportunities and programs for both parents and caregivers, and for adults with disabilities, to connect, learn, and have respite. Throughout the year, there are workshops on topics like finance, and parent nights to discuss current challenges and provide connection with each other. Easter Seals House also provides a Respite Program for parents and caregivers to take advantage of during the pandemic.

Choose from a variety of one-hour, weekly online classes or full day camps. Available for children, youth and adults with disabilities.
