Sunhouse Babysitting

Sunhouse is a Vancouver-based babysitting agency founded by sisters Nicole and April Hughes. We connect families with screened, professional Babysitters and Nannies for the hours that fall outside the regular school day, including afterschool care, lesson and activity drop-offs, weekend coverage, evenings, and full days when school is closed.

Every caregiver in our network is screened and matched to your family on age, location, timing, and the kind of care you need. Whether your child needs help with homework, a meal and bath routine, an afternoon at the park, or quiet company between activities, our Babysitters and Nannies are warm, capable, and ready to meet your family where you are.

Families can book a single sitter through our member portal or join one of our membership tiers for ongoing care that builds consistency over time. Some families come to us for one date night a month, others build a regular afterschool team. Either way, we are here for the small windows that make a parent's week run smoother.
