We offer a wide range of interests and styles and are happy to meet your needs and interests. Instruction is offered for beginner music, intermediate music, and advanced music. Many students come wanting to learn specific styles of music, or a particular song. Whether it is singing/voice lessons or electric guitar lessons, or any of our other offerings, we’ll make sure we give you the proper tools to grow and get the skills to enjoy music for life!
Arbutus Music Academy offers Guitar, Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello, Piano, Theory lessons and Summer Programs for students of all ages and levels, Violin, Viola, and Cello Suzuki Programs for younger beginners, Early Childhood Music for children 1-4 year old and their caregivers, and Chamber Music Ensembles for intermediate and advanced instrumentalists.
Our program activities include weekly Covid-safe rehearsals and video performances for each of the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Orchestras. We are hoping to be able to hold in-person concerts for the 2021/2022 season.
At the rehearsals, the orchestras work together on their assigned musical pieces for their performances.

West Point Grey Community Centre offers a wide variety of opportunities for all ages in the areas of arts, culture, education, recreation, sport and social activities. Special Events such as Afternoon Teas, Breakfast with Bunny and the Point Grey Fiesta bring the community together to get to know one another and celebrate holidays, festivals and special occasions.
