Canlan Ice Sports North Shore

The Canlan Ice Sports Hockey Academy has developed a progression system that helps youths and adults progress towards their training goals.Each level has been standardized for on-ice content and designed with specific drills to assist participants.

Grandview Skating Club

CANSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for skaters of all ages. This is a program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development, plus CanPower (Hockey/Ringette skills) and StarSkate (figure skating).

For those interested in general learn-to-skate lessons, before deciding if Figure Skating, Hockey, Ringette, Speed skating, or recreational skating is right for your skaters, our club offers the following programs: Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate, Advanced CanSkate, PowerSkating, Junior Development, Junior Star, STARSkate, CompetitiveSkate, Special Olympics, and Off Ice.

Vancouver Junior Roller Derby

VJRD teaches children aged 6-17 skating and derby skills. During fall and winter, our program runs out of Britannia CC (Sun 9-11 am) and Poirier Forum in Coquitlam (Mon 8-10 pm). In April-June, we are at Trout Lake rink (Tue 4-6 pm and Sat 9-11 am).

Outdoor experiential education and character-building lessons for youth ages 12-18 years old on every Saturday.
