SFU Science AL!VE (Youth Camps, Afterschool and Weekend Events)

With over 30 years in operation, SFU Science AL!VE (care of SFU Faculty of Applied Sciences) engages K-12 youth in hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & design, Mathematics) programs to build measurable skills and improve self-confidence. We offer seasonal camps, weekend and afterschool clubs, online workshops, and resources for teachers. Each year, we deliver over 450 programs to over 10,000 youth including in remote Indigenous communities such as Haida Gwaii. We believe that STEAM is for everyone and offer bursaries for our paid programs in addition to offering free programs in underserved communities. Join us to develop your curiosity, creativity, and confidence in STEAM!
