Our full-day Fun Kayak + Coastal Adventures Camp for kids 7-10 years old is all about exploring the marine environment both on and off the water. Campers will enjoy a perfect balance, spending half their day on the water learning how to kayak and the other half on shore.

Camps are a great introduction to what a variety of our programs teach as we condense many of the skills taught throughout our various classes in fun ways! Our camps involve many games and activities paired with learning skills throughout the different disciplines (Ninja, Parkour, Rock Climbing & Tricking). Renaissance Academy of Learning offers award-winning summer camps in Richmond filled with cooking, art, dance, STEM, robotics, outdoor fun, and weekly field trips. We are proud to be a BC Parent Gold Winner for Favourite Art, Music, Drama, and Dance Camp, and we also offer separate enrichment classes in reading, writing, math, financial literacy and STEM.

Our Beginner Kayak + Coastal Adventures Full Day Camp for youth 10-14 years old is all about learning and developing our kayaking skills while also exploring the marine environment both on and off the water. Accompanied by their peers and enthusiastic Paddle Canada-certified instructors, campers will enjoy five engaging days of skill development, exploration, and excitement.

School age camps run Monday to Friday from 9-noon or 1-4 pm. In addition to riding a pony for about 45 minutes per day, children learn how to read a horse’s body language and how to care for their horse. Other activities include grooming, feeding, tacking up, cleaning tack and mucking stalls. You will find it hard to believe that the same children who refuse to clean their rooms are super excited to clean up horse poop!

Designed for boys and girls who have recently completed Grade 5-11 (as of June 2026), with a beginner to intermediate skill level (no previous competitive club volleyball team experience).

Preschool pony camp is about getting comfortable around horses and farm animals, and learning how to be safe on a farm. Campers will spend approximately 20 minutes each day riding their pony one-on-one with our instructor, with time spent learning the basics of mounting, dismounting, walking, steering and stopping. The rest of the time is spent in a group of just 4 kids playing equestrian-themed games and learning about grooming, horse care, and safety around the animals.

Summer Farm Camp at Southlands Heritage Farm offers action-packed weekly adventures for kids aged 6-12, filled with engaging outdoor themes designed to inspire learning, creativity, and fun. Camps run Monday to Friday, with two separate sessions each day: 9 AM–12 PM and 1 PM–4 PM. Children can sign up for one or both sessions each week to create a full-day experience. Participants should dress for outdoor adventures, bring snacks, lunch (if staying all day), and a reusable water bottle.

Get inspired this summer with some of the best arts educators in the province at our state-of-the-art Granville Island (GI) hub and Surrey Centre location.
